The weather's getting nicer and the desire to get a motorcycle is stronger than ever. Rider magazine recently did a comparison of the DR650SE, KLR650 and XR650L--very unusual, considering none of these bikes have seen any major change since the mid-90's (too bad they couldn't get their hands on one of the updated '08 Kawasakis).

I just bought an '07 XR650L in Nov. For me, it was the obvious choice, as I tend to ride a bit hard, off road. I'm also kinda tall at 6'2". Heard the other two are better for touring or long road trips.
Oh yeah...(same anonymous dude here), I think there is more support and after-market parts available for the Honda...
